Mr. R.GIRIDHAR was a gold medalist in mechanical engineering from Regional Engineering College, Warangal. After his engineering, he joined M/s FACOR as Dy. Manager and rose to the position of Manager in about 5 years.

After he left FACOR, he worked as a General Manager for M/s Nav Bharat Ferro Alloys Ltd., and M/s GMR Ferro Alloys Group, Tekkali. He, having worked at various places and. supervised the plant construction and operation & maintenance of furnaces, had gained a lot of experience and confidence in design and other aspects of Ferro-Alloys Projects. Mr. R.GIRIDHAR founded a proprietary firm in 1995 under the name and style of M/s RgCON Services. Under his administration, the organization grew from a small consultancy firm to a prominent organization in Ferro – Alloys Project Design and Execution. Mr. R. GIRIDHAR confined to consultancy assignments until in 2005, when he started taking up Turn-key executions. Unfortunately, Mr. R. GIRIDHAR passed away in late 2005. He left the legacy of his company in the hands of efficient colleagues and staff. Mr. R.Giridhar was also an esteemed Member of Institution of Engineers(MIE),Fellow of Indian Institution of Plant Engineers(FIIPE),Member of Indian Institution of Metals(MIIM), and a I class Chartered Engineer[C.Eng(I)].


Chief Executive Officer(CEO)


M/s. RgCON SERVICES was started as a small consultancy firm by the Founder and the First Proprietor, Late Shri. R. Giridhar in the year 1995.  Mr. R. Giridhar was a 1st Class graduate in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal (Formerly Regional Engineering College).  After graduation he joined M/s. Ferro Alloys Corporation as Asst., Manager and rose to the position of Manager in about 5 years.  Then he worked General Manager in BCCL, Nava-Bharat Group & GMR Group. He was in-charge of setting up new Ferro Alloy Plants of Nava Bharat group in Raipur and expansion of plant of GMR group at Tekkali, Andhra Pradesh.

At the beginning, the consultancy work was confined to problem solving of Ferro Alloy Plants or modifications & up-grading of Ferro Alloy plants in Goa, Burdwan and Orissa.

Full-fledged consultation, EPC / Turnkey / Semi-Turnkey works for Green Field Ferro Alloys plants along with Pollution Control System and Material Handling Systems was started in 1998 when several Green Field Ferro Alloy plants came up in North-Eastern states especially Meghalaya and also in and around the Durgapur belt of West Bengal. Necessary qualified staff was added to the organization in due course and several Green Field Ferro Alloy Plants were successfully commissioned in the North East & West Bengal.  The capacities varied from 5 MVA to 18 MVA.  With the rightly timed boom in Ferro Alloy market and several incentives offered by the Central Government and State Governments of Andhra Pradesh Jharkhand, West Bengal and Orissa, several industrialists come forward to set up either Green Field projects or expanded existing capacities (Brown Field).  M/s. RgCON SERVICES was awarded consultancy work for a large portion of these new projects based on the unprecedented track record in setting up Ferro Alloy plants.

RgCON SERVICES have successfully commissioned over 90 furnaces in the past 18 year stretch and have another 20-30 furnaces under execution both on consultancy and Turnkey basis.


Head of Civil & Structural Wing


Mr. V.A. REDDY is a senior professional in the field of Ferro Alloys.  He is an engineering graduate and had obtained post-graduate degree. He worked as research assistant at CWPR station (Poona) and also worked as Design Engineer for M/s. Butler Manufacturing Company, USA and M/s. Vitro Engineering Company, Bombay.

He worked for an long period of about 29 years at M/s FACOR in various positions comprising In charge of Civil Department, then promoted to Dy. Manager (works) to Manager (works) and later was the General Manager and then Chief Executive for a period of 2 years. He was responsible for setting up of India’s first indigenous 16 MVA furnace project at Garividi. After his voluntary retirement and later joined M/s. RgCON Services to head the Civil and Structural Design wing. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers, Fellow of Institution of Valuers, a Chartered Engineer and a Member of Society of Structural Engineers.


Head of Electrical & Instrumentation Wing


Mr. Y. V. RAMANIAH is a senior electrical and instrumentation design engineer associated with M/s RgCON Services since he attained superannuation in 2002. He started as a Jr. Technical Assistant at M/s FACOR and was entrusted with plant electrical maintenance at Garividi. During his tenure at M/s. FACOR he rendered services as Dy. Manager (Elect. Maint.) for a good period of 21 years and rose to the level of Manager (Elect. Maint.) by the time he attained superannuation. After that he joined RgCON, wherein he has been making significant contributions in setting up Ferro alloy plants in various parts of the country.

Specialist in Production & Metallurgy


Mr. MADHU BABU is a qualified metallurgist and a very experienced man in Ferro Alloys and has good reputation in Production, Maintenance and Metallurgical fields of Ferro Alloys. He has worked for various companies of varied furnace capacities ranging from 3.6 MVA to 16.5 MVA and a variety of Ferro Alloy products such as HC FeCr, HC FeMn, HC SiMn, FeSi etc. Mr. Madhu Babu has worked with many companies at various levels of the organization. He started as Site Supervisor for Agarwal Construction Company for a couple of years, was Asst. Manager (Stores) for about 2 years and was shift In-Charge at GMR Ferro Alloys Ltd. (GMR Group). He rose to the position of Asst. Manager (Prod.) and worked at that level for 4 ½ years at VBC Ferro Alloys Ltd. Mr. Madhu Babu gradually rose to the position of Manager (Prod.) for M/s. Shyam Ferro Alloys and then to Works Manager/Dy. General Manager at M/s Maithan Smelters Ltd.He took the O & M contract for M/s. Gayatri Minerals & Alloys (P) Ltd. for a period of 1 year.

He was the General Manager for Sova Ispat Alloys Ltd. and rejoined by M/s. Shyam Sel & Power Ltd. and was made General Manager ( Ferro Alloy Division) until recently he quit the job and decided to be a part of the metallurgical face of RgCON and acknowledge his close association with Mr. R. Giridhar.

He is acquainted with the preparation of long term Ferro Alloy strategies, production, operation & maintenance contracts, solving critical production problems and co–ordination of project execution of Ferro Alloys.
